Going To

Heaven?

I want you to go to Heaven!

Don’t get me wrong.  I would love for you to attend our church.  Regardless of your church background or denomination, we welcome you to our services. We are a Bible-Believing Baptist church where the Word of God takes center stage and Jesus Christ is preeminenent.

As Pastor, I desire the brokenhearted to be healed, those that are in despair to have hope, those that are spiritually “lost” to be “found”, and everyone to be richly fed by the preaching of the Word of God.

However, going to Heaven if far more important than going to church.

The most important decision any individual will ever make is what they will do with Jesus Christ.

Regardless of church attendance or religious affiliation, the choice to trust Christ as personal Saviour is independent of any religious system or beliefs. Salvation through faith in Christ is not a Baptist preference; it is an eternal Bible truth.

The following Bible verses provide the Gospel plan in a simple, concise, uncompromising manner. The Word of God will confront your heart in a personal manner. God is Love, but He hates sin.

May God bless you as you meditate on these verses, make them personal, and understand the vital choice to trust Christ!

All human beings have sinned.

Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

The “death” spoken of in these verses is an eternal death in a place call hell – a place of everlasting torment. There is a physical death and an “eternal” death spoken of in Revelation 20:14.

All human beings need to recognize they have personally sinned against God and understand their need for the personal Saviour – Jesus Christ.

I John 1:1-2 “…And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”

Jesus was the Sacrifice that satisfied God’s wrath against sin. Through Jesus’ shed blood, anyone can have eternal life. Salvation is not found in religion, good works, or denomination. It is only found in Jesus Christ.

John 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”

Any person can trust Christ as Saviour. He wants the whole world to be saved .

Mark 1:15 “…Repent and believe the Gospel…”

To “repent and believe” means to “turn” from what you have been trusting, “change your mind”, and “trust” or “believe” in Jesus alone.

The Gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Not only did He die for our sins, but He rose again, and is alive forevermore.

BELIEF in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross is what saves a person from Hell. This is not belief in Jesus’ existence and experience on the Cross of Calvary alone. This BELIEF is a heart belief that places 100% trust and dependence on Him alone as your Saviour – nothing added or taken from it.

It is quite simple to be saved and know it…

Romans 10:10 says,For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

And Romans 10:13 says “For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

I John 5:13 says, These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Emotions change. The Word of God is sure. We have the written Word of God for our assurance.

Repent – Believe – Call – Know.

You have an appointment to meet the Almighty.  Will you be ready?

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”        Hebrews 9:27

Would you trust Christ today?

Let me know if you have any questions or if you trust Christ for salvation.  I am here to help you and your family in any way that I can.

Sincerely,

Pastor Brent Gullo
